About Wake Forest Pool Service
Plainly put: we're a referral service, not a pool company. Here's how that works and why it might be useful to you.
What we do
Wake Forest Pool Service is an independent website run by Joey, who lives in the Raleigh area. The site helps homeowners in Wake Forest and nearby towns find pool service by connecting each request with an independent, locally owned pool service company.
When you call or send the quote form, we pass your request to a local company that serves your area and handles that type of work. That company contacts you, quotes the job and, if you hire them, does the work.
What we don't do
- We don't perform pool work, and we don't have technicians or trucks.
- We're not a contractor and don't hold contractor licenses.
- We don't set prices or guarantee anyone's workmanship.
- We don't publish reviews or ratings of companies.
How we're paid
Using this site is free for homeowners. We may be paid by the pool companies we refer requests to. That's what keeps the site running.
Your part
Treat the company we connect you with like any contractor: ask what's included, get the price in writing, ask for proof of insurance and any licenses that apply to your job, and get other quotes if you like. The Town of Wake Forest's advice on hiring a contractor is worth a read.
